ESG and SMEs: In Volla, companies and experts discuss the strategic value of human capital.

Attracting talent, strengthening local ties, building relationships of trust, and generating shared value: these are some of the challenges businesses face today to remain competitive and create lasting development.

The second meeting of " will be dedicated to these themesMetamorfosi Lab 2030 – Regenerative Business Growth Labs”, the program promoted by Ci Vuole Marketing Società Benefit that supports companies in building sustainable, measurable development models geared towards common benefit.

The meeting will take place Thursday, June 11th at the La California Group, within the Volla Agri-food Consortium, one of the main reference centers for the Campania agri-food sector and a daily meeting place for companies, economic operators, commercial networks and production chains in the area.

A particularly significant location for a laboratory dedicated to the Social Dimension (S) of ESG criteria, as it concretely represents an ecosystem of relationships, exchanges, and connections that contribute to the economic and social growth of the entire metropolitan area of Naples.

The conference will be led by Carmela Villani, an expert in impactful business growth and regenerative marketing, and Clara Bassano, a professor at the University of Salerno. and Director of the Observatory of Parks and Protected Areas of Southern Italy.

At the heart of the discussion is an increasingly strategic question for small and medium-sized businesses: how much economic, social, and competitive value does a company that truly invests in people and communities generate? During the workshop, participating companies will work on practical tools to map stakeholders, relationships, and social issues, identifying concrete projects capable of generating measurable benefits for employees, families, schools, associations, and the local community.

Particular attention will be paid to companies' ability to transform relationships into a truly strategic asset, strengthening their reputation, attractiveness, innovation, and ability to create long-term value.

«For many years, social issues were considered an ancillary component of corporate strategies. Today, however, they represent a fundamental lever for competitiveness, reputation, and skill attraction. Companies that invest in people and relationships build stronger, more resilient organizations capable of generating a positive impact on the communities in which they operate.» declares Carmela Villani, creator of the Metamorfosi Lab 2030 project.

The event is part of the process launched last May with the creation of the Founding Class of 2026, the first group of businesses committed to building a regional network focused on a regenerative economy and common good.

Metamorfosi Lab 2030 will continue in the coming months, addressing other dimensions of corporate sustainability through workshops dedicated to environmental and governance aspects, with the aim of supporting companies in defining concrete and shared impact plans.

The June 11th meeting is open to a limited number of participating companies and represents a concrete opportunity to transform sustainability from a declaration of intent to an operational project, fostering the development of new collaborations and projects capable of generating value for businesses and the local community.
