This is a measure with a financial allocation of 54 million euro aimed at the redevelopment, modernization and completion of buildings intended for staff accommodation.
The goal is twofold: to improve the quality of life of workers and to promote the environmental sustainability of buildings.
The key numbers of the incentive:
Total budget: 54 million euros (spread between 2025 and 2027).
Minimum investment: 500.000 euro.
Maximum investment: 5.000.000 euros.
Minimum hospitality requirement: At least 10 beds guaranteed for workers.
Who is it for?
The incentive isn't limited to hotels, but encompasses the entire tourism and hospitality industry. Businesses of any size are eligible if they:
They operate with the ATECO codes provided for by Ministerial Decree 09/18/2025 (Hospitality and food/drink service sector).
They have real estate units (also for rent, with the owner's consent).
They started the work only after the application was submitted (for inactive companies).
What expenses are eligible?
The contribution covers a wide range of interventions aimed at improving the structures:
Construction works: Refurbishment, modernization, or completion of existing properties to improve energy performance.
Capital goods: Purchase of plants, machinery, equipment and brand new furniture.
Consultations: Technical services for SMEs and specialized consultancy in the environmental and energy fields.
The Incentives: How Much Can You Recover?
Support comes in the form of non-repayable contribution (capital account).
The basic intensity starts from 30%, but it can vary significantly thanks to a series of cumulative increases:

For technical consultancy for SMEs, the contribution can reach up to 50%, while for environmental studies you can touch the80% for small businesses.

Pre-compilation (Personal data and delegations): Already active since 12:00 March 24, 2026.
Submit application: Pm 12:00 pm on April 2, 2026 until 5:00 PM on May 17, 2026.
