The second edition of the Tourism, Training, and Work competition is about to reopen . Applications will be open from March 4, 2021, until June 30, 2021. Chambers of Commerce have long been responsible for providing career guidance, supporting businesses in their search for human resources, and bridging the gap between school and work and university and work. They have also assumed roles in training and skills certification, cultural heritage promotion, and tourism development and promotion. These roles were assigned to them by Law No. 580/1993, later amended by Legislative Decree No. 219/2016.
The actions that the Chambers of Commerce can undertake are made even more necessary due to the unprecedented production and employment crisis connected to the effects of the health emergency.
The objective of the call is to finance tourism sector businesses through the allocation of non-repayable grants. The funds will cover the costs incurred for certain types of expenses. Specifically, the costs covered by the financing are those related to the purchase of goods and services for the implementation, enhancement, or innovation of process management infrastructure. For example: attendance management, digital communication, the corporate social media platform, the platform for distance learning for company employees, smart working, operational marketing, and the promotion of Made in Calabria and Italy products.

Other expenses that can be financed are those for the purchase of goods and services incurred to carry out interventions or purchase devices for the safety of the restaurant/tourism facility. The safety measures must take place according to the World Health Organization guidelines to combat Covid.
Let's consider the case where construction investments are required, for example, to create pathways or social distancing required by Covid regulations. These expenses may involve the construction or demolition of walls, or the upgrading of utilities. These interventions may only be carried out following the issuance of the SCIA/CILA building permit. Self-employed work is excluded. In any case, expenses for the purchase of consumer goods are excluded, even if related to the health emergency (e.g., disinfectant gel, masks, etc.).
They are also among the financeable expenses investments in training aimed at the management and/or employees of the company, for the enhancement of skills
strategic for the sector. By way of example, we mention: tourism programmer, sales promoter, front office manager, housekeeping manager, revenue manager. Still others may be destination managers, export managers, recruiting managers, market managers, digital managers, food and beverage managers. and investments for the training of tourism service staff on Covid-19.
It is important that training be provided exclusively by accredited training institutions or companies that meet the requirement of proven multi-year experience in general training and, in particular, proven experience (training courses already provided) in training the professional roles envisaged in the notice.
Tourism training and work announcement 2nd edition: financial allocation and beneficiaries
The funding amount is €100.000. Companies with registered offices and a local branch registered in the Business Registry of the province of Cosenza, and with one of the ATECO codes listed in the attachment to the notice, are eligible to apply .
Each company can submit only one application to obtain a voucher for an amount equal to 5000 €. Applications for the voucher must be submitted exclusively in the modality
telematics. Digital signature is required. The office in charge is online: “Contributions to businesses”, of the Web-telematic system of Infocamere – Servizi. Applications sent in different ways will be excluded.
It is interesting to note that the aid granted under the call for proposals can be cumulated, for the same eligible costs, with other de minimis aid, up to the relevant de minimis ceiling. It can also be cumulated with aid exempted or authorized by the Commission, subject to the ceilings set by the applicable exemption regulation. An authorization decision is also valid. Finally, it can be cumulated with aid without eligible costs.
