1000 euro bonus for tourism sector workers
The "Cura Italia" decree provides a €1000 bonus for workers in the tourism and spa sectors for the month of May.
The 600 euro bonus, pursuant to Article 29 of the Decree, was granted to seasonal workers in the tourism and spa industries.
The beneficiaries of this bonus had to have among the requirements the termination of the employment relationship between 1 January 2019 and 17 March 2020.
A further condition was the non-receipt of a pension or employment relationship as of 17 March 2020.
Il “Cura Italia” provides for the renewal of the bonus for the same beneficiaries in April.
However, a new decree renews this allowance with a further inclusion.
This inclusion also includes bonus recipients administration workers employed at user companies in the tourism and spa sector.
They must have involuntarily terminated the employment relationship during the period from January 1 2019 and the date of entry into force of the decree.
Again, the perceivers they must not be in receipt of a pension or of an employment relationship or of NASpI, at the time of entry into force of the Decree.
As for the month of May 2020, the expected bonus will rise to 1000 €. It will be provided only for seasonal employees of tourism and spa establishments who will have involuntarily terminated the employment relationship between 1 January 2019 and the date of entry into force of the decree.
As already mentioned, you must not be a pension recipient or have an employment or NASpI relationship. Also for the month of May, as for that of April, the bonus, with the same incompatibilities, will be recognized to temporary workers employed at user companies operating in the tourism sector.
They must have involuntarily terminated the employment relationship in the aforementioned period.
