Manageritalia Veneto and CISET (International Centre for Studies on Tourism Economics) launch the third edition of the Award for Degree Thesis dedicated to the crucial theme of “Tourism: young people, businesses, jobs”The initiative aims to promote the best academic research exploring the dynamics, challenges, and opportunities of the tourism sector, with a particular focus on the role of young people and their interactions with the world of business and work.
This award represents an unmissable opportunity for recent graduates and undergraduates to showcase their talent and innovative ideas for a constantly evolving sector. Theses may address a variety of tourism-related topics, encouraging original approaches and in-depth analyses of the interconnections between younger generations, the business landscape, and the tourism job market.

The competition is open to those who have obtained or will obtain a bachelor's or master's degree by the autumn session of 2025.
To participate in the 3rd edition of the Award, candidates must complete the application form attached to the announcement in its entirety and send it, no later than September 12, 2025, to the certified email address: veneto.manageritalia@pec.it.
In the application, candidates must provide their personal data and, depending on their situation (graduate or undergraduate), declare under their own responsibility the required information, including the degree program, the university, thesis title, the date of graduation (or expected defense), and the grade (if already available).
Documents to attach (in PDF format):
Candidates must attach the digital version of their thesis in PDF format, written in Italian or English if the original language is different, naming the file “TESI PREMIO TURISMO 2025 – Surname and Name of the candidate”.
It will also be necessary to include an abstract of the thesis, of a maximum of 6.000 characters including spaces, written in Italian and completed in all its parts following the format attached to the application, with the file name “ABSTRACT THESIS AWARD TOURISM 2025 – Surname Name of the candidate”.
Only those who have yet to defend their thesis are required to provide a signed declaration from their supervisor certifying that the thesis is complete or nearly complete. Additional documents to attach include a copy of a valid identity document, a certificate or self-certification of exams taken during their university studies, and a curriculum vitae.
Please note that the abstract must be structured into three distinct parts, as specified in Annex 1 to the application form: the first part must illustrate the thesis's consistency with the content set out in the Prize Regulations; the second part must illustrate the innovations presented in the thesis with reference to point 5.2 of the Regulations; and the third part must outline the desk and/or field investigations and analyses conducted for the thesis, again with reference to point 5.2 of the Regulations.
